Tony’s proposal to Beth was really awesome! He arranged for a tornado drill at Beth’s elementary school where she teaches 1st grade. The fire department showed up. Teachers stood by with cameras and camcorders, all pointing towards Beth when Tony walks up, gets on one knee and proposes in front of all of the teachers and students! Beth was completely surprised since Tony worked at a different station that doesn’t cover the area for her school. She said yes, the students, teachers and firemen clapped and cheered, and here we are!
Beth and Tony love the mountains, so we went up to Flat Rock, NC. We started taking photos at Bonclarken. There are a bunch of ever greens all over!
Beth and Tony were secluded under this evergreen.
Notice the fire fire fighter symbolism? 😉 Beth and Tony wanted some fall colors. This tree was lit up like it was on fire!

I love how Beth and Tony blend in with nature almost with their nature colored clothing! It’s really neat if you look in the background and notice the yellow leaves crawling up the tree!

Beth agreed that Tony looked more like the fire fighter. Tony LOVES being a fire fighter! He’s an engineer at the Gilbert Summit department in Lexington, SC.
