Kate Barker and Billy Perkins were married at Lawrenceville Methodist Church.
Look at their marvelous rings!
Can you guess what the rings are on? Could this be the get-away car?
Here’s Kate and all her beautiful bridesmaids!
Kate and her bridesmaids just had to get a jumping picture! I love how you can see everyone’s personality in the way they jump!
Kate’s veil was actually her grandmother’s and mother’s! The applique’ was still intact, but the fabric portion had turn yellow over the years, so her seamstress made her a new one by taking the applique’ off the old veil and putting it on a plain new one. It looked amazing and so special!
Kate’s bouquet was so neat! I love the splash of green! It’s my favorite color! It compliments her red hair!
Billy and his groomsmen are stylin’!
The Church architecture was gorgeous with the pipes, stained glass, lighting and all!
Kate’s and Billy’s ceremony was so fun and special at the same time!
The inside’s of the old Chevys are so neat with metal on the steering wheel and the dashboard and all that color!
So classy!
It was cool how the dogwood tree branch wrapped up the cake and spelled out their initials!
You can see Billy’s love for UGA here! He changed his tie and vest for the reception! Too bad they didn’t have Erskine ones when I got married!
The reception was at 550 Trackside Club and it was beautiful inside with the wooden ceilings, stone walls, and antique chandeliers.
The DJ was getting into it and he and Billy did some fun dance moves. He also taught all of the guests at the reception how to do the Thriller dance. He actually choreographed the whole thing!
Even Kate’s grandmother got her groove on! 🙂
Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles! Take a peek at Kate’s shoes! They’re Rainbow flip-flops. Kate also wore some dazzling silver Tom Toms!
And off they go to Alaska! That’s a drastic temperature difference!
We hope you have a wonderful married life Kate and Billy!
