About Davey

I’m Davey, a wedding and portrait photographer passionate about capturing real, joy-filled moments for couples and families. With over 15 years of experience and 300+ weddings photographed, I specialize in creating joyful, vivid, and timeless images that let your love and personality shine.

While I handle photography on the wedding day, my wife, Marissa, plays an essential role in making the entire experience seamless. She meets with couples to design their wedding albums, manages the business behind the scenes, and keeps everything running smoothly—including social media, client communication, and all the little details that make your experience exceptional.

Our faith is at the heart of everything we do. We give all credit to God for our talents and see photography as a way to glorify Him—capturing the love, joy, and beauty He has created in each moment.

As a dad to two sweet boys, Ansel and Harrison, I know how fast life moves. I love capturing those in-between giggles, snuggles, and playful moments that make each family unique. Our home is also full of love and laughter with our three cats—Frankie, Pancake, and Honey!

When I’m photographing weddings, I work alongside incredibly talented second photographers who share my commitment to excellence and storytelling. Together, we ensure that every moment—from the biggest celebrations to the smallest details—is beautifully captured.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find us adventuring with our kids, playing board games, visiting zoos (Marissa is obsessed with cheetahs and elephants!), or enjoying music and mountain biking.

Based in Greenville, SC, I love to travel and am always up for an adventure—whether it’s a dreamy destination wedding, a cozy family session in your backyard, or capturing love stories around the world. From the romantic streets of Paris to a sun-soaked French vineyard, the breathtaking Italian Alps by drone, or cruising on a boat in Vermont, I’ve had the privilege of photographing incredible moments in over a dozen states and 11 countries. I’ve even taken photos from helicopters and planes—including a WWII aircraft! No matter where your story takes you, I’m ready to document it in a way that’s joyful, vivid, and timeless.
