Now that we are getting sentimental with speeches, I’ll tell you how Tony proposed. They had a tornado drill at the elementary school where Beth teaches and Tony told the other teachers he was going to propose. However, Tony was not in the same fire department district, so he talked to some friends who let him ride with them to the school for the tornado drill. The teachers had video cameras in the hall with all of the kids huddled out there and Beth thought it was strange since they only use them every once and a while to document the drills to watch their performance. Tony came walking down the school hall and proposed in front of all of the students in the school, teachers and even the principal! It was an amazing moment Beth described! 🙂 Great job Tony!
