It was such an honor to have photographed my cousin, Anthony and his lovely bride, Lauren’s wedding!
Their wedding was at Centennial ARP Church.
The cute program…
Such a beautiful wedding dress!
Lauren got Anthony’s grandfather’s (Samuel Walfrod Harrison) wedding band and melted it down into a wedding band for Anthony for a surprise!
I actually secretly took pictures of it without Anthony knowing of the original ring! You can see the inscriptions!
Here’s the old ring with Lauren’s engagement ring.
The beautiful bride!
This was a gorgeous spot under a large tree in front of the church! I love how the branches come down! My cousin Abby (middle left) was a bridesmaid along with our friend Lauren Wylie (right) that we went to Erskine College with!
The natural lighting inside the church was perfect through the large windows!
Can you guess what the rings are sitting on top of?
Swords! Anthony gave his attendants swords as a gift at the rehearsal dinner. I could totally see Anthony being a knight! His 21st great grandfather, Sir Robert De Hyde (1193-1225 AD) was actually a knight in Cheshire, England! He was also a Lord of many manors during the feudal ages!
Anthony’s dad received a cane with a hidden sword 🙂
We usually take some silly pictures for fun with the groomsmen, bridesmaids and immediate family and I just had to include this one! He was about to clock Anthony!
His wife clock’d him … I mean …. to be more ‘precise,’ she gave him a pocket watch for his groom’s gift 🙂
Snazzy, huh?
Rev. Setzer, father of our friends, Kara and Kate from Erskine College officiated the ceremony!
Us, Presbyterians sometimes like to start at the back of the pews and work our way to the front 🙂 Isn’t this a gorgeous sanctuary, especially with the organ pipes and the large windows letting so much natural light in!
The first kiss!
Yep, they look happy!
I don’t think we’ve ever put a picture of a couple signing a marriage license on the blog, however this one was too cute!
Under the veil … classic.
I know this doesn’t flow with the color scheme, but I just had to turn this one black and white!
The reception was held at the beautiful Keenan House! There was so much dancing!
There were a lot of guests! In the bottom right is a lot of Anthony’s side of the family that gets together for Thanksgiving every year!
Anthony and Lauren are now living in Alaska where Anthony recently moved to for work! Here’s a picture I grabbed from Lauren’s Facebook of them on Flattop Mountain!
