Nathan and Kathleen were married at the Greenwood Presbyterian Church! It is a beautiful church and has some pretty nature surrounding it.
Kathleen loves nature!
The beautiful program!
This is one of the bridesmaid’s bouquets. Kathleen gave the bridesmaids Tussie Mussies as gifts! They are Victorian bouquet handles that pin the flowers into the handle, and by slipping a pinky finger into the ring at the bottom the lady may offer her hand to a gentleman without dropping her bouquet!
King and queen… We found two pine cones to sit the rings on and Kathleen’s pine cone looks like it’s wearing a dress!
I love the green moss reflecting onto Nathan and Kathleen’s rings!
Every detail of Kathleen’s dress is so classy!
Nathan and his snazzy groomsmen!
Beautiful bride and bridesmaids!
Nathan and Kathleen had a really neat idea for a guest book! They used a tree and everyone would ink their thumbs with a shade of green and put their thumb print on the tree as a leaf! Then everyone would sign their name! How cool is that?
Pastor Archie Moore and Paul Patrick both officiated the ceremony.
Most everyone’s favorite part of the ceremony is the first kiss! I love seeing people’s reactions to the first kiss!
We headed outside the church for a few photos of the newlyweds with the beautiful sunset!
Nathan and Kathleen’s reception was really neat because it was in two locations! The first part was held at the church. The reception here was a sit down meal, with a special song by Kathleen’s brother and dad! The second part of the reception was held at The Barn, where Erskine College would hold it’s RUF ministry. It is a barn at Paul Patrick’s, the college chaplain, house near Erskine College. We loved going to the Barn while we were at Erskine. It was great to learn from Paul, worship and fellowship with friends! This part of the reception had the cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, and dancing!
Nathan and Kathleen left to sparklers!
