Robert and Becky’s rehearsal luncheon was aboard the Northern Lights Lake Champlain Cruises! We traveled around Lake Champlain on the border of New York and Vermont.
Some of the Sims family had not seen each other in 10-20 years! Some live in Washington and the others in New York!
There was Vermont maple syrup at the tables for each person! Vermont maple syrup is the best in the world! Driving around Vermont we saw a lot of maple syrup farms. It was so strange seeing tubes going from tree to tree. Locals say moose sometimes run into them causing a big mess. The food was really good and the views were amazing from inside!
This was looking outside the window before we pulled out of the dock.
Robert and Becky arrived and the festivities began!
Robert and Becky walked around to each table introducing family members and friends.
Becky and Robert were able to sit down themselves after mingling with everyone.
We went up on the deck to take a few family photos with the beautiful weather and scenery! Look at all the redheads!
Rev. Maffin and his wife, Margaret, pointed into the distance. They didn’t spot Champ though, the local lake monster. They were our excellent hosts for part of the trip! Rev. Maffin was also the pastor that married Robert and Becky. Rev. Maffin and his wife had amazing stories from Africa, Scotland, and of course, Vermont!
Many people were out sailing on this beautiful day!
We took a few pictures of Becky and Robert while we were deck-side.
A sail boat passed by at just the right moment for a beautiful picture!
It became very windy and Becky had to hold her hair, however it made for a fun picture!
We went back inside and family and friends shared special, intimate and fun moments in Becky and Robert’s live’s.
Returning to the harbor we could see the beautiful, tree scattered, skyline of Burlington, Vermont.
