Barbara | Bridals

Barbara loves the way the Wyche Pavilion looks, so we started taking photos there. It’s located behind the Peace Center downtown Greenville, SC. It is actually where Duke’s Mayonnaise started in 1917! Yum! They also used to make carriages there.

The pavilion may not seem like much when you view it from the bridge, however when you get up close it’s immense! There are pretty trees around it which make for fun pictures!

Barbara sat in one of the window seals and peaked around the corner. There was actually some event going on in the pavilion. We went ahead and took pictures. 🙂 We didn’t get kicked out. Actually a lady came up and told us that she could move tables and chairs if they were in our way. He he!

I took a few photos of the details of her dress, like the pretty bow on the back and also a close-up of her really cool earrings!

There was a neat old brick wall beside the pavilion. I love how even though Barbara is very little and in the corner of the photo the light comes through the trees and highlights her to put the spotlight on her.

I asked her to stand on the bridge over the Reedy River and I would stand by the pavilion and take photos from there. There was a pretty fence that had circles in it that I framed her with. The flora on the wall behind the bridge was very pretty also.

Barbara looked very beautiful on the bridge with the sun light coming from behind her.

We went under some trees where the sun was coming through. Barbara looked up into the trees and the light lit up her eyes. I had to get a close-up of her pretty eyes.

The sun was setting over the bridge behind the trees and provided some very cool light! Barbara seemed very peaceful at this moment.

Trent and Meghan | Wedding

My thirtieth wedding! Yay!

Trent and Meghan had their wedding at Aabstract’s Gallery, a small art gallery in Fountain Inn, SC. There were all sorts of fun paintings, cool antiques and crafts throughout the gallery.

The fish bowls were pretty awesome!

I especially liked the collection of old-timey cameras! I couldn’t resist taking photos of them. 🙂

tripanel2

The architecture and landscaping was very pretty also. There is a beautiful fence in the front that Meghan leaned against and her beauty shined with her pretty smile.

There is a room on the second floor with almost everything blue in it! Light fell in softly through the windows to light up Meghan’s skin.

One of my favorite moments during the whole wedding day is right after the bride and groom are announced as a couple and hide somewhere as they wait on guests to leave to the reception. The newly-wed couple is joy-filled and ecstatic hugging and kissing! Then their family comes to join them, giving them hugs and celebrating with them. It’s such a special moment when you can really see the newly-wed’s true love and joy!

twopanel2

Trent and Meghan had an awesome Honda motorcycle as a get-away vehicle! I think this was Trent’s favorite part of the day when he got to kiss Meghan a bunch. It seemed that they just wanted to spend time with each other and not go back into the reception. However it is so much fun to socialize and share your happy moments with your friends and family as well!

They had a great reception starting off with the first dance, mother/son dance and the father/daughter dance. Meghan and her father had a special routine planned and busted out some cool shades and showed off their fancy moves! Everyone loved it!

Trent and Meghan had a cake that was very special to them. Since they both love books, the cake was made of books and each one marked a different step in their lives. The first was for when they met, the second was for when Trent proposed and the third was for their wedding day. It was very fun and creative!

twopanel4

Trent and Meghan left on their get-away motorcycle wearing matching t-shirts that said “United we ride.” How awesome is that?!

Thank you Trent and Meghan for letting me photograph your most fun and special moment in your lives to date!

Jimmy and Kristen | Wedding

Jimmy and Kristen’s wedding was at a beautiful Church, called St. Andrews Presbyterian, in Lexington, SC! Jimmy and Kristen are two very Christ-centered people and are very close with their families. You could tell from the way they interacted with each other.

I normally like taking groomsmen and bridesmaids pictures outside, but I couldn’t resist taking some inside, because the lighting was great! Here is one of Jimmy and his groomsmen. I loved the simple cross that was hanging in the Church that was in the background of a lot of photos.

It was 96°F outside so we didn’t stay out too long 🙂

I absolutely love getting the groom and the groomsmen to cut up before the wedding for pictures! It not only makes fun pictures but helps the groom relax and relieve some nervousness if he has some. Jimmy didn’t seem nervous and of course everyone could tell Kristen wasn’t nervous. She was so excited and giddy the whole time! She was bouncing around everywhere! 🙂

Kristen’s tiara started to fall out of her hair when Jimmy threw her back for their first kiss! Pastor Paul Patrick and Mr. Turner kept laughing because Kristen was bouncing up and down the whole ceremony, especially right before the first kiss!

“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” – Ephesians 5:31 NIV

Jimmy and Kristen played soccer at Erskine College and it has been a big part of their lives, so I thought grabbing a few pictures of them with soccer balls would be especially fitting.

The father and daughter dance was wonderful and everyone had a fabulous time dancing!

The music by Partytime DJ’s was great too! They really had the guests moving around and having fun!

Kristen’s father had a special moment with Jimmy when the newlyweds were leaving. Kristen’s father was overwhelmed with joy and happiness for his daughter and new son-in-law.

Congratulations Jimmy and Kristen! May you two be blessed with an awesome married life!
