Marissa and I took Ting Ting and Frankie out to Furman University for a walk. Yes, you read right. You can put a leash on most animals and they will walk. Frankie is a lazy cat though, so he didn’t walk much. Ting Ting walked over half-way around the lake at Furman! Before our walk we stopped by some trees to take a few pictures.
This one is Ting Ting. I named her after the band, The Ting Tings. She was a little sick when we first got her, but is all better now, her fur is still growing back, that’s why her nose may look a little funny.
Frankie is just being lazy 🙂
Ting Ting always likes to tilt her head. She is almost like an owl and turns her head many different directions.
Aww, sister and brother.
Frankie has grown up so much since his First Day in the Park! It always amazes me how white he looks! He actually has a tiny black smudge of fur on the top of his head, but you can never see it in pictures because the rest of him is so white.
Look how sweet Ting Ting looks! I love the little tufts of fur on her ears (we think she may be part Maine Coon!)
Frankie kept crawling right against the ground, like he was on the prowl except he wasn’t hunting or chasing anything. Goofy cat!
The pretty mountains in the background! Ting Ting almost looks like a black tabby from this side! I love her unique calico markings, a little half and half kitten!
We got a lot of stares and comments about walking our cats! I guess most people don’t take their cats for walks! They love stalking through the grass, climbing the trees, and chasing leaves! It gives them a chance to be out in their natural habitat without any of the dangers! The best part was watching the cats sniff the dogs! Ting Ting seemed to prefer running in the grass, while Frankie seemed to enjoy climbing trees more. They both thought the ducks were pretty curious, and Ting Ting liked to chase after bikers! At the end of the day the cats were all “tuckered out” and slept so soundly the rest of the night (Frankie even snored).
so adorable!
