Wedding | Emily and Anthony

Emily and Anthony were married at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church in Spartanburg, SC. We thoroughly enjoyed photographing such an awesome couple, Emily and Anthony! They are such genuine people! Their families were a lot of fun to spend the day with also!

Before the wedding ceremony, they had a Chinese Tea Ceremony! This was the first we had photographed! This is the dress that Emily wore for the ceremony. A tea ceremony’s purpose is to introduce the brides and grooms families to each other and to show respect and appreciation to their parents and other close family members. The bride and groom serve tea to each of the family members. The family members give their blessings, advice, and Li Shi money wrapped in red envelopes. There are moments of tears and moments of laughter!

I caught Emily’s mother shedding tears 🙂

I love how the guy in the far right is keeping stance but looking over with his eyes at Anthony and Emily!

It was such a beautiful day for pictures!
