I had the privilege of photographing one of my favorite artist’s family! One of my favorite painters is Jennifer Bickel. Check out her paintings at Marie Scott Studios. Her husband, Tim, is a structural engineer and their son is six years old! They moved from Wisconsin to the Greenville area about a year ago. She had an exhibit at the Trillium Art Festival recently.
I wonder who is stronger? Father or son?
Everyone likes to jump! I just love the fall colors! They are so vibrant and fun!
Now that’s some love right there!
This little romantic interlude in the gazebo area of the Janie Earle Furman Rose Garden reminds me of a scene from The Sound of Music.
You have to check out Nathan’s awesome fort!
See the many fun things you can do on his fort! There’s a swing, rope ladder, wavy slide and more fun stuff!
Inside the Bickel’s house is a colorful wonderland filled with everything artsy! Jennifer is in love with pillows and probably has a different set for each season of the year! All of the decor matches Jennifer’s paintings which are on every wall throughout the house! Their house should be featured in Southern Living.
Be sure to check out Metropolitan Arts Council’s Greenville Open Studios Nov 6-8! Marie Scott will be one of many artists with their studios open for viewing! For more information go here.
I have one of her beautiful paintings hanging on the wall in my dining room!
